Saunders Landscaping is looking for a reliable and qualified Landscape Foreman with at least 10 years experience to start as soon as possible. This person will be working on commercial high-rise developments. Our crews work Monday-Friday, and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all work performed is to the highest quality standards in accordance with the job plans and specifications.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, quality control and achieving production targets as well as ensuring that customer needs are being met.
• Train crew members on the proper techniques for performing their job duties.
• Sign off on crew members time sheets, as well as complete all associated safety and administrative paperwork.
• Ensures complete compliance to the safety program by all crew members and reports unsafe or noncompliance to the supervisor immediately.

What do you need to be considered:

• Class 5 Driver License with a clean driver’s abstract (please supply with your submission).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial landscaping/high-rise developments.
• Extensive background in landscape construction including: irrigation installation, grading and leveling, planting, pavers, retaining walls, woodwork, craning, etc.
• The ability to understand how to read architectural/landscaping drawings to properly layout the project.
• Candidates should be self-motivated, and have strong organization and interpersonal skills.
• Candidate should be able to effectively lead and motivate a team of 4-5 people and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment under pressure of deadlines.
• Any safety tickets/certification would be considered an asset.
