Saunders Landscaping is looking for full-time Landscape Labourers to start in April (weather dependent). Our crews work Monday-Friday, and occasional Saturdays. Most of the jobs will be on commercial construction sites; however, there will be some residential jobs.

The position starts at $18.00 – $22.00/hour, however, advancement is possible if you display a strong work ethic.

You must to be able to get to site(s) daily, have a hard hat, and steel toed boots. Shorts and tank tops are prohibited, you must wear pants and shirts that cover your shoulders at all sites. The sites are located in Calgary and surrounding areas. You will be expected to complete the following duties under supervision.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Installing sod and mulch
• Assist with hand leveling/grading loam (shoveling/raking)
• Plant trees and shrubs
• Assist with irrigation system installations
• Assist with paver installation
• Haul materials by hand and wheelbarrow
• Assist with woodwork including fences, decks, pergolas, etc.
• Abide by Saunders Landscaping Safety Program

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

• Handling heavy loads
• Physically demanding
• Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling

Previous landscaping experience would be considered an asset, but is not required.
